Günni AI (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application (“App”).

1. Information We Collect

a. User-Provided Information

When you use the App, you may provide certain personal information, such as:

• Profile Information: Your name, join date, weekly fitness goals, and preferred weight units.

b. Fitness and Activity Data

We collect and store your workout history, including:

• Exercises performed, weights lifted, sets, reps, and durations.
• Personal records and progress statistics.

Note: All fitness and activity data are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not have access to this data on our servers unless you explicitly share it through support channels or feedback features.

c. User Feedback Data

When you submit feedback, bug reports, or feature requests through the App, we collect:

• The type of feedback (bug report, feature idea, or general).
• The title and description you provide.
• A timestamp of submission.
• Basic device information (device type, operating system version).

This data is transmitted to and stored on Google Firebase, a cloud service operated by Google LLC. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase’s Privacy and Security documentation for details on how Google handles this data.

d. Billing and Subscription Information

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect information necessary to process your transactions, such as your Apple ID and purchase history. Please refer to RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy for more details.

e. AI Interaction Data (Third-Party Disclosure)

The App features an AI Buddy powered by OpenRouter. To provide personalized chat responses and custom workout plans, we explicitly request your permission to share certain data with OpenRouter.

What data is sent to OpenRouter:

• Your Profile Information (Name, goal days per week, weight unit).
• Your Workout History context (Total workouts, current streak, and recent exercises performed).
• Any chat messages you explicitly send to the AI Buddy.

Who the data is sent to:

• This data is transmitted securely to our third-party AI provider, OpenRouter (https://openrouter.ai).

Data Protection:

• By default, OpenRouter does not store your prompts or AI responses. Request metadata (such as token counts and latency) may be stored for operational purposes. This data is used solely to generate AI responses and features within the App and is not sold or used for marketing purposes. Please refer to OpenRouter’s Privacy Policy for their specific data retention details.

2. Third-Party Services

3. Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

• Haptics: To provide tactile feedback during use.

Note: The App does not currently collect your precise location or access your photo library.

4. How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the App’s features.
• Personalize your workout experience and AI Buddy interactions.
• Manage your Pro subscriptions and restore purchases.
• Improve the App based on user feedback.

5. Data Retention

Since most data is stored locally on your device, it remains there until you delete the App or use the “Clear Workout History” feature within the App settings. User feedback submitted through the App is stored on Firebase and retained for as long as necessary to address your feedback and improve the App. AI interaction data is handled by OpenRouter as per their data retention policies; by default, prompts and responses are not stored by OpenRouter unless logging is explicitly enabled.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Data transmitted to Firebase and other third-party services is encrypted in transit. However, please be aware that no security measure is perfect, and you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.
